THE BIG QUESTION : Will 200 MBs be
enough? Most (97%) Web Sites require less than 5 MB! Why pay
for storage you will never need. Other services offer huge amounts
of space at higher costs because they know their clients will
never use that much storage. AND they include the storage of your
access log file in the quota. This log file can easily surpass the
storage needed for your entire web site in just a few months.
Also remember, you DON'T want large
files on your Web Site because such files will take forever for
your visitors to download. A typically long Web Page is only 10K.
This means you can store 20,000 web pages on your 200 MB site. An
average logo for the top of a homepage is 15K. This means you can
store over 12,000 logos on your 200 MB site. Finally, an average
icon/button is 4k. This means you can store 58,000 such
icons/buttons on your 200 MB web site. Now you decide - just how
many pages/logos/buttons do you need? If you keep your site well
maintained, and remove outdated files and materials, you will
probably never need more than 200 MBs.

You will have to pay $35 per year (two
years in advance) directly to Internic in order to use your own
domain name (i.e., Your_name.COM). You may also choose a domain
name such as RCHP.COM/YOURNAME to avoid Internic charges.
There is no charge for these domain names because RCHP has already
paid the fees for RCHP.COM
You won't find providers on the
Internet that offer all of the features found at RCHP at our one
low price. If you do - let us know! 5GB Traffic and hits, your own
IP number, your own CGIs, FTP and Telnet access, Microsoft
Frontpage, 50 POP3 Accounts, Unlimited E-Mail aliases and
autoresponders - all for our comparatively LOW PRICE.

In order to provide our services at low prices, we require
quarterly payments prepaid in full on domain accounts and annual
payment on sub-domain accounts.
No, you will need local internet access
in order to maintain your Web Site. Our multiple
T1 lines are devoted exclusively to delivering your web
pages quickly. We do, however, provide information how our
customers can obtain free internet access.

Files must be transferred to the web
server via File Transport Protocol (FTP). If you have a PPP
internet account and need FTP software. You can get copies of
these programs at Softseek
or Shareware.COM.
Internet providers such as AOL, Compuserve, and Prodigy may have a
built-in FTP interface. You may also access your account via
Telnet.
You have unlimited access via FTP,
Telnet or MS Frontpage 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and
maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to
your Web Site at your leisure.
In general, if you have more than one
domain account at RCHP we can point each domain address to the
same HTML files. There is an additional monthly fee and setup for each
domain.
Of course you can use your account for
commercial purposes.
Yes. You can resell space within your
account. However, you will be responsible for its content.
Because we have no way to prevent
minors from accessing your site, you may not use our servers to
publish obscene material or provide a list of links to such
material. You may not use your account for mass mailings (mail
bombings) or types of activities which violate generally accepted
Internet guidelines. Customers also may not use excessive amounts
of CPU processing time.
We are happy to assist new customers in
setting up their web sites. We have an extensive on-line manual
which is updated weekly as we add new features to our servers. We
encourage our customers to send E-Mail to support@rchp.com with
questions or concerns about their Web Site.
Using our order form , you can apply
for your account immediately. There are two steps involved. First,
we ask that you carefully review our contract. Please pay close
attention to our rules and restrictions. If you are willing to
agree to our terms, then it is just a matter of deciding which
account is best for you and completing the order form.
Orders submitted before 3pm (CST) which
include payment will usually be processed the same day and
ready for use within 48 hours! Once an account is set up an
activation notice will be sent you via E-Mail. You can begin
transferring files to your new Web Site immediately. Domain
account users will be given a temporary URL to access their site
via the web prior to the completion of either domain registration
or transfer.
